I use Python3 a lot. But sometimes it’s sad that the code I wrote on the newer version of python doesn’t work on the version given in Toph (python 3.7).
Eg, the walrus operator
:= is introduced in python 3.8. But as Toph only has Python3.7, people can’t benefit themselves by using newer coding style.
Toph used to have Python 3.8 too. But for some reasons it was removed.
It’d be very helpful if we get a newer version of Python. At least Python 3.8
