The d8 version added is too old. Doesn’t even support destructuring. I recommend it to be updated to latest binaries available so that real power of modern JS can be harnessed.
Same for Node I guess.

This took a bit longer than I had anticipated. Compiling V8 was not fun. But finally got it working. Please test and let me know if you face any issue.
D8 is now on version 11.8.49.
